When he was a boy, John Bennett made a wish that his cuddly bear, Ted, would come alive and be his friend for life. The wish came true of course; now aged 30 and wanting to settle down with his girlfriend, John’s beginning to regret having made said wish. Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, makes his big screen debut as writer, director and the voice of Ted, and as you’d expect the humour is rude, crude and very non-PC.
